Layton

As a lot of my "babies" have graduated my "Grow with me Program", I am pleased to see a new group on their way. This is Layton. I did his big brothers pictures for the first year and now I am honored to get to do Laytons. It is amazing how much they look alike. They are both such handsome boys!! Hope you enjoy the pics.

Have a great Saturday!

Vance IV

Well, here I am about to say it again. Another one of my babies is 2! I know that you guys are getting so tired of hearing me say it but I really can't believe how time flies! This baby has changed so much over the last two years. I wish I had time to go back and show you some of his previous pics but then I would just get further behind...if possible!! Anyway, I just had to share these curls!!

I love the shots of Vance with his Mommy! I know Daddy will be excited to see these.

Well, guys I got a lot done as far as blogging; however, I'm nowhere near caught up. I promise to keep trying and I know that I have some brides waiting to see some of their stuff too! Thanks so much guys for your patience and I hope the wait is well worth it!

Night all!

Birthday Bash!!

This family was so much fun and we all had a good time and I think we all ended up getting cake on us before the shoot was over! Mom had wanted to get sibling shots and then some pics to document that Sophie was turning one. Let me tell you Sophie is one busy girl! Good thing my camera has a faast shutter speed or she would have been a blur the whole time!

Anyway, we had a lot of laughs and Sophie was even kind enough to share her birthday cake!

Enjoy the pics and Happy Birthday Sophie!!!

Tripp and Griff!

These guys are so sweet. It is such a compliment when clients come back to see me to photograph their second...sometimes third and fourth...child. Thank you ! thank you! thank you! I was so happy to get to do Griffs one year pics as I had gotten to do his big brothers one year milestone also. I'm always amazed at how fast time flys and how much babies grow up to be big people.

I wanted to share just a few. Griff was so serious and would not smile for anyone except his Mama. As you can see, I got this serious look! And I love it!!
Here is Griff playing "Peek-A-Boo"! How precious!!

And here is big brother Tripp getting in on the action. I think he had a lot more fun chasing frogs! There were baby frogs everywhere!!

Hope everyone enjoys the pictures!

Olga

I know that I have been so behind on blogging and I will do my best to get caught up a bit. Christy and I were so excited to get to do Olga's bridals in preparation for her wedding next month. Actually, one month from today! Time is flying! Anyway, Christy was able to post a few and I knew that Olga had been waiting patiently for a peek so I thought I would put up a few more.

Olga's dress is just beautiful and even more special as it was made by her mother. What a heirloom to pass on to her own family some day! How we all survived the July heat that day I will never know...thanks for the Stoby's lemonade again by the way!!

Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy the pictures and sorry for the delay. We have been working so hard to get the new studio put together and I've gotten a little behind on all counts.

Have a great day and I promise to have more pics up soon.

Tess!

Okay guys. I had to post these today. I mean, look at this prima donna. She is just too cute and came ready for her fashion debut! We had people stopping on the sidewalk to watch her strut her stuff. She even had "paint" on her nails! We were SO BIG today!!

This is another one of my babies making the graduation to 2 years old! She is so sweet and was full of smiles.. Mom was prepared with lots of bribes and they worked like a charm! We had so much fun and I just had to take a peek.

Hope you guys enjoyed the peek. I can't wait to look at the rest. I'm now off to the new studio to get some more work done. I'm shooting there for the first time tomorrow!! Yeah!! I am so excited!!! I'll get some pictures and more information up soon!!
Hey Ashley, I got the "lost" pic back up and added one more since you were so patient!

Have a great day!

Katie and Shane

Christy and I had the honor of photographing this wedding on Memorial Day weekend. It was a very special day as I have known these guys since they were in high school. We are all members of St Joseph Church here in Conway and Katie and I have sung in the Life Teen Band together for the last three years?? maybe longer. Time seems to fly as you get older.

Anyway, it was a great experience and Katie has been so patient waiting for her pictures to get ready. Needless to say, I have had some difficulty getting them to her...she knows why....but I know she is dying to get a peek at a few so here they are.

Here she is getting ready. This was a first for me to see the little sister helping the big sister put on her makeup! It was very sweet!!

A quiet moment to herself.

This one about made me cry. The sweet way that Dad is looking at her right before they walk down the isle. As you can see, Katie was all smiles all day.
As the ceremony begins....Their first dance....

And I'm not sure these guys didn't have more fun than anyone else at the reception!

Anyway guys, I hope you enjoyed the peek at your pictures. Just know I'm trying desperately to get the rest to you!

Take care and I wish you guys the best!!!

Autumn and Andrew

I had to post a few of these for everyone to see because they were just too sweet not to. This is Andrew and his mommy and Andrew is very proud that his mommy is going to have a new baby brother very soon!

Although we shot in the absolute hottest part of the day...straight up 12:00, they actually showed me a spot that was great to shoot in and better to cool off in. I think we all wished we had time for a swim! I know that I did...

Andrew had fun trying to teach Alli Grace how to skip a rock in the creek. She never quite caught on, but he was a pro!!
Doesn't he look so GQ in his new glasses!! Love them!!! He just doesn't look like a little boy anymore. All grown up!

Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys the pictures and I can't wait to meet baby Lucas very soon!! I know of two very proud grandparents that are patiently waiting!!
Night all...
Have a great week!

Miss Maggie!

Okay. I must be tired tonight as this is my third attempt to get this one up. This is Miss Maggie. I think her Mommy was about to have a fit for a peek so I thought I would be nice and show her a few. (now don't anyone go getting any crazy ideas that if you start throwing hissy fits you get your pictures any sooner....that will not work...chocolate might....jk)

Anyway, I have done Magggies pics in the past and was amazed at how much she has grown! She is soo sweet I could just eat her up!!! And that girl LOVES her daddy! Not that she doesn't love her mommy but she has her daddy right where she wants him...she just doesn't know it yet!

As you can see, we had an absolute perfect summer evening and lots of smiles and giggles. It was a lot of fun and I think everyone had a great time. I thought I would share a few of my favorites!!

I hope everyone enjoys the pictures and I want to thank these guys for letting me share a part of their day! And thanks to Grandad for letting us use his garden! What a perfect spot!!

Take care!

Mark and Olga

A few weeks ago, Christy and I went to shoot Mark and Olga's engagement session in Little Rock. The funny thing was that we really didn't have a specific place in mind to shoot and so at 5 minutes until 6, ( we were suppose to start shooting at 6), we were still driving around to see if anything gave us any creative prospects. We somehow stumbled onto the property of the Catholic Diocese of Little Rock and we instantly knew this was perfect! Not only was this place beautiful, it was a little extra special since Mark and Olga are getting married at St. Joesph's Catholic Church in August...so there was a tie.
Anyway, we had a blast. This couple is sooo much fun and Mark is an absolute riot. We had a beautiful day and a great setting and a lot of fun. I can't wait to do their wedding in August. It will be a great experience. Thought I would share a few from the day to give a sneak peek....

Thanks guys for being so willing to try whatever we asked you to do and for trusting us to find the perfect spot...okay at the last minute... but it worked!! Hope you enjoy the pics!

Thanks

Lisa

Mr. Will

This is Mr. Will. He is another one of my babies that is not so much a baby anymore but a little boy. I had the honor of doing his pictures when he was a newborn and he was sooo tiny as he had come into the world a little early. Look what a big boy he is today and so sweet! Anyway I wanted to share a few from his 2 year old session. Hope you enjoy!

Will is now a proud big brother so I hope to get to meet his little brother soon! Dad will now have enough golfers to play in a 3 man scramble!! I know that makes him proud!
have a great weekend!

Jinger and Seth

I'm not sure what is wrong with me as I have been very sentimental this week. Anyway, Saturday I had the honor of photographing Jinger and Seth's wedding in Batesville. This was an extra special event as Jinger is my step-sister. I think a lot of things hit me Saturday. How time flys and how the really important things in life are held in a person's heart. I wanted to get these up as soon as I could as Seth is only here for a short time before he has to go back to his job of defending our country. Seth is in the Army and Jason, Jinger's brother and honorary flower girl ( more on that later) serves in the Air Force. Regardless of what is said about politics and the war in general, it is guys like these that make me proud to live in the country that I do.
Okay, enough of my soapbox...here are a few from the day. Sorry guys. I was really trying to fly through these and haven't looked at very many so I hope you like what you see.
I wanted to put this one up as this shot was Seth's request. SO far it is one of my favorites!!

About the flower girl....in every wedding, there is something that happens that makes the day a little more special...usually gets a few laughs and adds to the memories of the day. Well, for this wedding, I vote for this memory. Stacy, Jin's niece and Jason's daughter, could not be coaxed to walk down the isle even after much prodding and bribing I am sure. So Jason, being the big brother that he is, filled in nicely for the job. Dropped rose petals and all! Atta Boy Jason!!

Anyway, I hope you guys have a great week together and I hope your life together is filled with much love and laughter. I know you guys are off to a great start!!
Take care and God Bless!!

Happy Father's Day!

I just wanted to say "Happy Father's Day" to all of the Daddy's out there. Hope you guys had a great day of doing just what you want. I just wanted to tell my wonderful husband that I am so proud of the Daddy that he is and am truly inspired by his continued show of love and patience with our girls. Being a parent is sometimes a lot of hard work but I am so glad that i get to share this job with you!! You are my rock and I know that you are laying such a strong foundation for our girls!!

Again, I hope you guys had a great father's day. I know that my husband will enjoy his gift in a few weeks...it has something to do with getting his garage back....More to come on that at a later date!

Night all! Hope this day let you rev up for a great week!
