Brit and Leighton Part 2

Well, I did say it would be awhile...and here they are. This is the second installment to Brittany and Leighton's wedding last month. This group of pics actually begins pre-ceremony activities.

We started the day off at a Bridesmaid's luncheon at Zoe's in Hot Springs. First, let me premise what kind of day I am having to start out with....My oldest, Morgan gets up, (she is a member of the wedding party and to attend the bridesmaid's luncheon at 10am.) So she forgot her outfit that I bought for her to wear. Hmm...where do you go shopping at 8 in the morning in Hot Springs...Wally world here we come. SO then, we rush back to the hotel to meet up with everyone to go to the luncheon and the wonderful tissue that I used as a bandage after a major shaving incident came loose and I got blood all over my cute little striped capris...which I am wearing all day and for the wedding I might add. Needless to say, we get to Zoe's and guess who forgot their camera!! Really!! Too many hats for me to wear this day that is for sure.

Anyway, I totally fell in love with Zoe's. They had the best brunch EVER and I am still waiting on my mother in law to get the receipe for the french toast casserole thing that was just plain evil! And then the cake really was the best cake I have had in a long time. The cake was so cool as it had ribbons for each of the bridesmaids and flower girls to pull out of the cake and at the end of the ribbon was a little trinket. It was so much fun to watch the little ones pull out their ribbon to get their surprise. I really want to go back to this place again. Very neat place and YUMMY...

After the luncheon, it is off to begin getting the girls ready. This part was so much fun as Aunt Kim did nails and I did curls. I stayed with my girls long enough to get their hair up, they have a lot of hair...I can't remember how many bobby pins that Morgan said I had in her hair but it was a ton...38??

Then it was off to the condo where Brit and her girls were getting ready...

I love this picture as Brittany is always cool as a cucumber, but she shows the excitement of a little girl here.

I got the treat of hanging out with Brittany and Leighton before the whole wedding party arrived for pictures. Below are just a few that we took.

Okay guys, more to come later. I have so much more posting to do. Thanks everyone for their patience as we are moving me out of one studio into another AND I've been painting four seperate rooms in my own house...totally not enough to do!

Night all! Supermom is going to bed :)

Funny boy!

This little guy is Layton. He was so much fun and so..."BOY" for lack of a better word. He was busy and quick! I had so much fun with him and I love all of the expressions we got during this session.

Thought you guys would enjoy a sneak peek as I just had to share a few of these!

Mattinglee

Welcome to the world! This is baby Mattinglee and her Mommy and Daddy. She did such a great job with her first time in front of the camera. Thought I would share a few as I have not blogged in a while.
Happy Father's Day!!

Happy Anniversary Gram and Grandad!

I almost made it through this day and forgot to wish two very special people in my life a Happy Anniversary!! Scott's Mom and Dad celebrated the wedding bliss of 42 years today. Yeah!! When I asked how many years...they said "A lot". I think anyone who has been married that long always says that. Actually, I think my husband says it on a daily basis and we aren't even half way there yet!!

These guys are both so wonderful and made me feel like a member of the family even before I was one. I have always teased my husband by saying that we could never get divorced as he would not have anywhere to go "home" to!

Anyway guys, I hope you had a wonderful day doing exactly what you wanted to!
You deserve it!!

Jackson!!

This is one of the little boys who has captivated me since I first started doing his pictures. He is so cute and i LOVE that red hair and BIG brown eyes. He has gotten so big. He was not really wanting to get his picture made at first but, after we all got in the dirt and played, he was all for it! Hope you enjoy the pictures of this little cowboy!

I really wish they had those boots in my size!
Thanks guys for being so patient. I still have lots of blogging to do and I am trying...I promise!
Night!!
Lisa :)
