Kylie

I'm trying to redeem myself from poor blogging habits so I thought I would start trying to post a few pictures this week. This is Kylie. She is georgous as you can see and did a great job even though she had had a long day. Alli Grace was such a good helper. Kylie LOVED her and would smile every time she was around. What am I going to do now that my helpers are back in school? Anyway, hope you guys enjoy the sneak peek.

I hope everyone has a great week!

New and news!

Hey Guys!
As usual, I am behind on blogging and I apologize. I get frequent e-mails from people wanting to see some new stuff. I will do my best to get some new images up...just not tonight. The new studio is coming along and, if I were more organized, would almost be done. However, since everything in my life is a work in progress...I'm sure this will be too. Anyway, it is a fun new place and I think everyone will enjoy the change in scenery.

With that being said, I wanted to get everyone caught up on some things that I hope will be happening in the months ahead. I say "I hope" as I will need your help. However, before I get to that I wanted to tell you about the new product that I have been talking about.

I am still working out the whole process but I have decided to call it "Love Letters" and I think it will be a huge hit. It will be great for Christmas presents!!! Just ask me about it when scheduling your session and I will give you the details if you are intrested. I hope to have some samples to show soon...again a work in progress.

As for the exciting stuff for the months ahead...here goes...

For the month of September... I think we should do "adopt a soldier month". Anyone who brings a care package or an item to go into a care package of at least $15 in value, will receive a 50% disount on their session fees. These items will be mailed to our solders serving overseas. I think it will be a great way to show our support. I'm not sure about you guys but i tend to take a lot of things for granted and would like to be able to tell the guys and gals that we support what they are doing and wish them well and give them some of the comforts of home! I'm not sure of everything that can go into a care package but I know it must be non-perishable and non-liquid. (maybe some of you military people can give us some ideas!!) and I will post the ideas as we receive them. Also, you must have a personal note to go with your item. It can be a word of encouragement, a picture or letter from your child, but lets make this a personal mission!

For the month of October, I like the idea of giving items to the Bethelem House here in Conway. I think it will be a great way to help them gear up for the holiday season. I will get a list from them and get more specifics on that later. Participants for this project will also receive a 50% discount on session fees.

For the months of November and December, anyone who brings a new toy in package with at least a $20 value, will receive 50% off of their session fee. I am looking into where this toy drive will be most needed and any suggestions are most welcome. For anyone who would like to give food to the St. Vincent de Paul society instead of a toy, non-perishable food items with a $20 value will also be greatly appreciated.

I think that is enough information to digest for now. However, I am really excited about the upcoming months and think everyone will benefit from our projects so help me make it happen! If you know of an organization that will benefit from future endeavors, please leave me a comment and it may be considered for future projects.

Okay guys, let me know your thoughts and we will see what happens!
have a great week!
Lisa :)

ps please keep my dear friend Christy and her family in your prayers as they are going through a difficult time right now. We all know that the power of prayer is an amazing thing!

Kyle~ 6 months!

Okay. This little guy has given mom and me a run for our money as they say. This is the first session out of three, ( I have done his newborn and 3 month), that the child finally decided to give me a smile. I think it might have something to do with the fact that we brought the whole family along to help!! We got lots of smiles and he loves his big sis!! She could make him grin from ear to ear. Anyway, here are a few of my favs...hope you guys enjoy!!

I think I'm going to LOVE shooting in the natural light on my front porch at the studio!! Kyle made it very easy!!

I thought this one was so funny! Hey "that's my mama" he says!!

I don't think there is anything more sweet than a baby exploring the world around him. What are these and what do they do???

Enjoy all!

Night!

Logan

I had the wonderful opportunity to take my neice out and play around with my new camera yesterday. Logan is 13 and came to stay with us for a few days. Like my girls, she has never had her very own photoshoot. We usually are just going for a shot and then we are done. Well we decided to let her have her time to shine. And boy did she!! We had so much fun and she tried everything I asked her to do. I can't believe how much she has grown. People say that with your own kids...you blink and they are grown...I think it's worse with other kids. You blink and they are 13 and wearing braces.
Anyway, here are a few of my favorites and I have to thank Michelle, my sis, for helping me with the lighting as it was way past dark when we were through.

Anyway, hope you guys enjoy the pictures. Logan you did a great job !!! Even with all the heat and the rushed clothing changes in the Yukon. I'll get more for you to look at soon.

Love you!

Aunt Lisa :)

Gallery Wraps

Hey Guys,

Thought I would give you a look at the new gallery wraps that I just got in. I can honestly say that the picture does not do it justice. This is NOT the new product that I was talking of earlier but these are new and really cool. Feel free to stop by and see these at the new studio located at 1310 prince street. I am not running regular business hours as of yet because I'm still getting moved in. But as soon as school starts, I will have more scheduled times. All sessions are still by appointment and lots of people are still enjoying outside sessions so these are being scheduled early morning and early evening to beat the heat. Can't wait to get finished and show you guys more stuff!

Also, I am finally in the process of making the switch from Nikon to Canon, and although most of my stuff is pre-sold, I do still have some items that have not been chosen yet. Just e-mail me at lisa@lisafeltsphotography.com if you are intrested.

Lisa :)

I'm back!

Hey Guys,

Sorry so long between blogging. We got back from memphis late on Wednesday and, of course, I woke up sick! BLAHHH... Anyway, I would like to say I'm trying to get caught up but I am no where close to that as of yet. Anyway, the conference was AWESOME! We had some phenomenal national speakers and got to meet and hang out with some fellow photographers. It was a great 4 days! I know I learned a lot of things and came back with some great ideas and new information that, hopefully, I will get to sort through sometime soon.

Anyway, here are a few pictures of Brandon and Julie's wedding in Batesville a few weeks ago. This wedding was so fun as it was in my home town and I got to see a lot of people I had not seen in awhile. Also, this was the same church where my sister was married. I wanted to share a few as Julie has been so patient in waiting for a peek. I hope you guys enjoy the pictures and I hope you had a great honeymoon! How smart to get away from the heat!

Julie before the ceremony! What a beautiful bride!

Julie and her dad right before he gives her away. This always makes me want to cry!

The Kiss! No explanation needed!!

The next girl to be married...so the tradition says!!!!

The toilet paper???? Okay...I had to put this one on here. This was so funny. Someone got the bright idea to throw toilet paper at them and this one just missed Brandon's head.

Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy the pictures. I will keep trying to get more on as I can. Also, hopefully will get some pics up of the new studio this next week . I've been waiting on my sign to be installed! I am so excited!! Lots of new things happening. Also, I will be coming out with a special product line that I am very excited about. It will be a "one of a kind" product that I'm sure you haven't seen before. More to come on that as I get all of the logistics figured out!

okay all!

Have a great weekend!

Lisa
