Jessica's Bridals

I wanted to post a few pictures from Jessica's bridal session as her wedding is coming up very soon. I met up with her mom, dad, sis and future mother-in-law and another very important part of the family, her pooch! These guys were so great to work with and Jessica looked absolutely stunning in her gown. A Cinderella as every bride should be. Here are a few of my favorites from the day.

I hope you enjoy the sneak peek and Christy and I are looking forward to your wedding in a couple of weeks!!

Family

Being a photographer is sometimes really frustrating for the rest of your family. They know how busy you are and yet they want pictures too. What's really sad is that this year, I actually had to schedule them. :( I guess in a way that is good as it means I am busy. Anyhoo, while in Batesville for the holiday, I was able to get some regular sessions and some family sessions in. I thought I would give everyone a peek of my sister, Michelle, and her family. Bless her heart, she had to call and wake me up and then force me out in the cold on Thanksgiving morning.

I loved the location and wish I had access to it all the time. I guess I would if I moved back "home".
I loved this shot of Logan and Tyler. I can't believe how much they have grown. Here they are 13 and 16 and both coming up on a birthdays really soon. YIKES!! I have a picture in my girls room when they were just 2 and 5. My how time flies. Logan was not overly excited about the hunting boots I asked her to wear but they turned out looking FAB and I think they grew on her before the shoot was over.

Well, I hope everyone enjoyed the peek. I want to thank my family for being so patient with me and coorperative on such a cold morning with "crazy Aunt Lisa". I also want to wish Logan "Good Luck" as she is off to Lexington this weekend to run in a national cross country meet. Yeah! RUN LOGAN RUN!!

I hope to have other family pics up soon and pics from my other sessions in Batesville and from Jen's Sr pics on Saturday. She did brave the cold! I hope everyone has a great week!

Baby Dylan

This little man is Dylan. I know several people who had been waiting to meet this little guy including me. And he surprised us all by coming 4 weeks earlier than planned. As you can see he is soo tiny and soo sweet! But he is doing great and keeping us on our toes. This session was so funny. I think we all got the full bonus of everything Dylan had to give and there was not a dry towel in the place. As I am trying to get some blogging caught up, I thought I would share his newborn collage.
Hope you enjoy!

The W family

I wanted to share a few pics of this family as they were so sweet and patient. Sometimes it is very hard to photograph a newborn with an 18 month old but they hung in there like real troopers. I hope you guys enjoy the pictures. More to come as promised.
Here is Miss Shelby giving baby Cooper a kiss. I'm sure there will be much more of these to come.

I loved this shot of Daddy with his kiddoes. They were so patient with Miss Shelby as she was so busy.
Dad even risked his sunglasses being broken for a shot!

the Polk Boys

Sometimes when I get a call to do a session and the words "three boys" are in the same sentence, I never really know what to expect. Don't get me wrong. I'm always up for a challenge and a little adventure. Well, I can honestly say that these guys totally took me by surprise. The older two answered all of my questions with "yes maam" and "no maam". They were so polite and so fun. I really could have learned a few things from them. And maybe I did. I think they were a little surprised by me also. Especially when I asked Mom if she would mind if they got a little dirty. How sweet for mom and dad to have such great young men to raise. These guys really were a tribute to their parents!

With nice young men like this around, maybe my girls will be allowed to go on dates when they get older afterall....or maybe not!

Matthew and Sophia

This is Matthew and Sophia. They were so much fun and so sweet. Matthew has never met a stranger and Sophia, well, finally warmed up to me. I feel like I have known these guys for a long time even though I just met them. We really had a great time and by the end, Sophia was giving me hugs instead of hiding behind dad's legs.

I hope you guys enjoy the pictures. I can't wait to see them when they come in. They ordered a lot of different print sizes and some really fun Christmas cards. I also want to give a big "thank you" to Matthew for the wonderful picture he colored for me while I was at his house for their viewing session. Thanks guys for making me feel so welcome! What a great experience.

The Davis Children

I was so excited to get to meet these guys as they go to the same school as my children. We had a beautiful afternoon and a lot of fun. I have never seen a brother and sister get along so well. They played and laughed and were so kind to one another. It was very refreshing to see and we all had a great time. I hope you guys enjoy the pictures.

Merry Christmas to All....

I just had to post a couple of my kiddoes with Santa. Morgan was going to a late Halloween party so she was in full costume. It was a little strange having a witch with Santa. I guess it could make for some interesting Christmas cards??? Anyway, she was not overly excited to get her picture taken, but she complied just to appease me. It is so hard to watch them get older! :(This next one is of Alli Grace. I loved how she was peeking around the doorway at Santa. She wanted to know how old he was! Here she is telling Santa what she wants. She was so shy, I think she forgot to tell him. Good thing Santa has a way of knowing these things!

Last but not least...Here is Santa and Me after a very busy day. I think we both needed a long winter's nap!

and to all, a Good night!

:)

Last of Santa Day!

Hey Guys,
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. As promised, here are the last of the Santa day pictures that we took on November the 3rd. I hope everyone enjoys the pictures and I hope to be able to publish some pics from my other sessions soon. I have been doing a lot of fun family, children and senior pics that I want to share so I'll get too it!

Enjoy!!

Here are a group of cutie cousins. They had a great time for the most part. I love all of the cute PJ's!!

Here are the Bruich boys. These guys did so good and kept Santa on his toes!!

This is Alexa, Jackson and Anneliese. These guys did an awesome job and Anneliese warmed up to Santa pretty quick and we were able to get some sweet shots of them all.

This is Miss Riley. I was so glad to get to see her as I had done her newborn shots and my how she has grown. I had to put this shot up as we really had to work on this one. This baby was all smiles and mom and dad wanted a "pouty" picture also. Well, once we got it, there was no going back! Precious!!

This is the Pelley kiddoes. I loved the pink Pj's for the girls and Noah's green ones. Noah was not sure about this whole Santa thing but he hung in there all the same!

This is Miss Henley, as you can see, she is a beauty. She came all the way from Pine Bluff just to see Santa and she did a great job and we had a lot of fun. Hope you like your pics Henley! Here are David and Lucas. Davild was so calm and loved playing reindeer. Lucas, gave Santa and me a run for our money. He was so funny and it took both of us to chase him down. They both loved reading the book with Santa. This is Miss Ava. What a sweetie. She was so cute even down to her red shoes. She loved looking at the books with Santa also. She was very shy but we managed to get some really sweet shots. Thanks Ava

This is baby Lexton. He has also grown so much since we did his newborn session. How sweet is this?

Here is Miss Chloe. She is so funny and so two! I loved this picture. Her expression tells it all. No matter what we told her, she could care less about seeing this guy!

This is Collin and Autumn. They had so much fun. I got to meet these guys the day before when we did their outdoor session so I hope to have some pictures up from that session soon.

Happy Thanksgiving

Hello everyone. First just let me say that I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving and spends some quality time with your families. Second I'll say...I think God wants me to do the same. I say God because we were leaving town today for the holiday and i had every intention of bring work with me. I spent extra time to burn off the stuff I wanted to work on and needless to say. I didn't get here with it.
SO if you are looking for pictures that are still not up...give yourself a break for a couple of days because I have no way to work at the moment. I know I have some disappointed people out there so I really do apologize.
Anyway, I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday and I will post some more pics as soon as I get back in town. I also hope to share some pics of all the sessions that I have done in the past few weeks and have just not had the time to post.
I thank you guys for your patience. You are all so awesome! I hope you have a great Thanksgiving.
Lisa:)

Here comes Santa Claus....

Hey Guys.. long time no hear hmm...Well, needless to say, I am sorry that I am just now doing some blogging but you guys have been keeping me sooo busy!! Anyway, I thought I would take a little time out tonight to get a few pictures in from the Santa sessions that we did in studio on November 3rd.

Please know that I am not getting to many of them tonight but will try to add a few each day. Also, I am not showing any preference. I will do them in the order they were shot...even with my own kiddoes so that it will be fair to everyone....and all grandparents alike. And since all of the grandparents think that they have the cutest grandkids in the world...and they do...everyone has to wait their turn.

Needless to say it was a wild and crazy day but fun for all...I hope. For those of you wanting Christmas cards, they are also in the processing mode right now. Also, the Christmas frames were/are a huge hit and you can still order one and get it here in time for the holidays!

Okay, without further adieu, here we go....

This is Miss Tatom. She was pretty laid back thoughout her whole visit with Santa.

This is Mr. Taylor. He had a lot of fun but his favorite part was when mom brought out the suckers.

And, last but not least, this is Miss Lydia. She had a lot of fun playing but I loved this shy little smile she gives while coloring with Santa!

This is Larson. He kind of did the rollercoaster thing with Santa. He thinks he likes him one minute and then is not so sure the next! But he loved playing reindeer!!

This is Layton, he was all smiles and then he wasn't so sure when he saw who was holding him...hmmm...who is that?

Okay. This one was hilarious!! I'm not sure what Mr. Kyle was doing here but it might just be the pic of the day!!

This is kind of what I look like when I go to confession.

However, I think I know Tripp well enough to know that he has been good this year!

This is me after confession....okay guys...just kidding but this was too cute.

(although I don't think Mr. Griff thinks so)

This is Mr. Noah. He enjoyed every minute!

This is so sweet. The neat thing is that Kelly did this all by herself and Andy followed suit.

This is Miss Ella. She is just georgous and loved Santa. Everett didn't so much think so!

This is Mr. Connor. He really enjoyed his time with Santa.

This is Miss Grace I think she had a blast and was not quite ready to leave.

And little Miss K just didn't see what all of the fuss was about! However, big brother would have been fine without the man in the red suit!

I know that you guys HATE it when I get sentimental...what is with that anyway...probably has something to do with pushing 40 YIKES! Anyway, as I have been going through these, there are so many moments of excitement, shyness, and childhood joy. ( and a few moments of absolute terror for a few!!!) I really hope we created some good memories for these kiddoes!! AND not nightmares for the rest... I would hate to think that we might be the cause of therapy in their later years!

JK

If you would like to have Santa visit your home, office or church....not other studios...sorry guys he's mine!! Anyway, please visit his website http://conwaysanta.com/. If you have the opportunity to do this for your children, it is an awesome experience for them. We did this 3 years ago and my kids still talk about it.

More to come!
