Todd and Kate

I hate that I am just now blogging about this wedding but things have been kind of nuts lately. Anyway, Todd and Kate allowed me and Mike Kemp to share in their special day and it truly was an honor. This family and this couple were so sweet and so much fun to be around that this really didn't seem like work at all. Anyway, I apologize for the delay but here are a few of my many favorites...

The girls met up at Tammy's at 7:00 am to get ready for the 11:00 am wedding. This was my first morning wedding and, after the shock of getting up early, it turned out to be a great time. This was my first shot of the day and I love how everyone is so laid back!

How sweet is this? As her bridesmaids are trying to "fix" a button, Kate shares a moment with her flower girl. Her button actually came off. To avoid any unnecessary breakdowns/ stress, we told her that we "glued" it back on. However, we forgot to mention to the flower girl that the glue thing was a secret and she announced to Kate later that she was still missing a button!! Although we were all caught in the little white lie, Kate took it in stride and got married anyway! It's all in the details.

Kate had so many wonderful treasures that she carried with her that day.

A small moment with mom to gather herself.Ready for the day!
This is one of my very favorite shots, as Kate is leaving for her "limo" with Dad and sis, Mom is waving in the door.Kate's surprise "limo" was a horsedrawn Cinderella carriage. I thought this was one of those priceless moments of the day. Dad surprised Kate by telling her he wanted some alone time with her before the ceremony. So the rest of us loaded up in the limo and Kate and Dad got that alone time in a very special way!

I loved this shot that Mike took of Kate and the horse that brought her to the church.Waiting...At the altar...The Kiss...To her carriage with Prince Charming....Arriving at the reception. The reception was at Josie's on the White River in Batesville. This place has such a neat atmosphere and wonderful food. The first dance...The dance with Dad. I loved this shot as Kate's dad was stepping on her dress and she was tripping over it with those bare feet.Mike caught me in my element...A quiet moment with Mom before they leave the reception...
Off to the real limo this time for a night on the town on Beale Street. Guys, thanks so much for allowing me to be a part of your special day. You guys were so much fun and so laid back that it made my job easy. I wish you well in all that you do and hope that you live happily ever after!

And, thanks to Mike for coming to second shoot for me. You made my job easier as well!

Lisa :)
