Happy New Year

Hey Guys!
I hope that everyone enjoyed celebrating the holidays and got to spend some quality time with your family and friends. I also hope that everyone has started the new year with a wonderful idea of what you want to accomplish 2009! Sorry that I have not blogged in a while. I was very busy getting out end of the year orders and then celebrated the holidays with my family and friends. I hope to have a few new pictures up just to give you something new to look at for a while.
Prospero Ano!

Very Naughty Phone

Just wanted to let everyone know that if you try to call me and I don't get back with you, well, then I just didn't get your message. My phone decided to drink my coffee last night and is behaving very poorly today. I am getting calls sporadically and can't send any at all. Yes, it had some help getting into my cup holder which was still holding the morning coffee...but that is another story and not a pleasant one!
So the best way to reach me right now is the wonderful email!
Thanks and have a great day!

The Wagnon Family

I was trying to remember, (yes, for those of you who know me that is a funny thought as I really can't remember anything!) anyway, when I first met this family. I think we first met when I did Tripp's first year pictures. I'm going to feel bad if it was before then but that is the first I can remember. Anyway, I do know that this is the first time we have done family pictures and I laugh everytime I think about this session. Griff, the youngest, is two. Need I say more!! I haven't heard the word "NO" so much in one session in a while. And it was not us telling him no, of course, it was the other way around! He was so funny!! Anyway, we had a beautiful fall afternoon and a lot of laughs so here are a few from the day!

Girl Power!

I just had to share a few pictures from our takewondo testing last month. For those of you who keep up with the blog, you know that the girls and I are all taking takewondo and we had to test for our yellow belts on the 24th of last month. This is uncharted territory for all of us and we were all very nervous. Needless to say, the girls ROCKED!!! I was so proud as they had worked really hard..or actually we all did...anyway, we all passed and are now official yellow belts. I honestly have no words to describe how proud I was of them. It is a very intimidating atmosphere for first timers and Alli Grace about chewed all of her nails off before they ever called her up.

Anyway, here are just a couple.

This was after we were all done and a huge sigh of relief as we were able to watch the higher belts test.

This is Alli Grace in action. She was so nervous and was called in the second group. She did the best she has ever done and showed her stuff. Don't let the bow fool you as she is a force to be reckoned with.

And this is Morgan. If you will remember, she wanted nothing to do with takewondo and, needless to say, has excelled in the sport. She is a natural.

So there you have it. I decided not to share any of myself as I hate looking at myself in pictures! Especially when I look like a huge marshmallow!

I need to say a big THANK YOU to Ms. Shanna for taking pictures for me while we were all testing. She did a great job and I LOVE all of the action shots! I have some of her too that I need to get posted as well.

I cannot say enough about this organization. We train at Grandmaster Hans Martial Arts of Central Arkansas here in Conway with Tom and Shanna Mullaney...okay I probably spelled that all wrong. Anyway, we have a lot of great instructors and an atmosphere that is positive, encouraging and truly like a family. I feel very blessed that we found this organization and have been welcomed into their family. I highly recommend this for anyone regardless of age or gender. However, if you have a daughter...get her in here!! They really do teach great life skills.
WE HAVE PRINCIPLES NOT RULES.

Hope everyone has an awesome day!

Cooper

This little guy is Cooper...or shall I say big guy. He was three weeks when we did this shoot and he is already a big boy. He did such a great job and was so calm through all that we did. I know that mom and dad are anxious for a peek so here they are.
Hope you enjoy!

Sweet baby Girl!

This sweet baby did such a great job. She stayed awake when we needed her to and took a nap when it was we were wanting. How perfect. Thought her mom, grandmom and aunt would be anxious for a peek.

I am so excited as my new website is up and going. Now they did tell me it might take a little while before everyone had access to it but, if you get a chance, stop by and let me know what you think!
Thanks!

I am sooo excited.

I have a new website ready to launch at any minute. I am so excited as, after 4 years, I was kind of getting tired of the old one and needed to update everything. I will let you guys know as soon as I go live with it.

Also, the Santa question has come up...is Santa coming to the studio this year? Well, yes, he is but I will not be documenting him this year. Instead there is a fellow photographer in the studio who is taking my spot for this special event. Contact me at lisafeltsphotography@gmail.com and I will give you the details!

Also, don't forget that you can book Santa to come directly in to your home to visit your children. You can check out his website at:
Santa has come to my house in the past and does a great job! IT really is a special treat for the kiddoes and adults as well.
Have a great Wednesday!
Lisa :)

The Stalker Kids

I have to say that this is one of the shortest sessions I have had all year but we still got some great shots. These guys did so good. Anyway, I know that mom is anxious to have a peek, so here they are.

Hope you guys enjoyed the pictures and thanks for sharing your afternoon with me!

Braving Gustav!

I am a little late in posting these...okay a lot late...but I wanted to share a few as we had such a fun session. I had actually called twice to make sure these guys were still coming as they were driving from out of town and the weather was not being very nice! You would have never known that the hurricane had come to town and we had major wind and sheets of rain. We actually had a couple of power surges during our session. Nothing was going to stop us though!
Anyway, I wanted to share a few as we had so many laughs and, I think, a good time had by all.
I hope you guys had a great time at Disney World and that the weather was nice to you!!

Here we go again.

Well, we have another addition to our crazy household. This one comes with a promise from three people in my family. Daddy really wanted Morgan to take martial arts with Alli and me and she didn't want to. So....he said "what do I have to do to get you to go" and there we go. Promise #1. Morgan has to go to martial arts. Promise #2 Alli has to keep her room clean. Promise #3 Dad can't gripe, complain, basically say anything negative about the dog...so there.
What you may ask do I get out of the deal...hmm...a cute little dog that doesn't want me to put her down all day, lots of messes to clean up after and a little more stress. With that being said, it has been worth it to hear the girls giggle with their new pet. So without further adieu, here is Piper.
She is suppose to be 1/2 shih tzu and 1/2 yorkie...she may just be an expensive little mutt. Either way, we love her!
Hope you guys enjoyed the peek and hopefully we will get her housetrained very soon, and Alli will keep her room clean, and Morgan will become a black belt and our house will be in perfect harmony! :) Nice thought and I will keep you posted.
Night!

Family fun

I had so much fun with this family. We had a lot of laughs and they were naturals in front of the camera and as assistants with the reflector! Anyway, I wanted to share a few as we had a great session.
Thanks so much for sharing your morning with me! Hope you like the pics!

Sweet Baby Andie

How precious is this baby girl?
I wanted to share a few pictures from this session as I know that mom and dad are anxious to see a few and who could blame them?
Andie was so alert and so calm throughout our entire session. I just hate it that her daddy was sick and not able to come along. Anyway, here they are...
Hope you guys enjoy the peek and I will see you soon. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Oh Happy Day!

As usual, I am behind on my blogging. And, as usual, you guys are so patient. Thank you!! WIthout further delay, here are a few from Mike and Jessica's wedding last month. If any of you follow the blog, then you have seen their engagement and Jessica's bridals before these.
I loved this first picture as Dad is helping with the dress and Mom is in the background watching.
A few little details of the day. This is a picture of the necklace that Jessica gave to her mom.
And...Jessica holding on to Mike's ring
Jessica and the flower girl...she was too cute.
The little guys about to take the walk!
A moment at the altar.
The exchanging of vows. Jessica and Mike wrote letters to each other that Father Charlie read to everyone. It was sooo sweet!
The kiss!
The first dance!
Daddy's little girl!
The last shot of the day. I loved it. I think this totally sums it up for parents. Happy that it is over and everything went smoothly...but dog tired and going home without their baby.
Anyway, guys thanks so much for letting me and Mike come and share your day. You guys were so much fun as always! I wish you happy happy joy joy in your new life together!!!
More blogs to come!

Say a Prayer

I don't know about the rest of you guys this morning but as I have gone through my daily routine of getting ready, getting my girls ready and out the door etc, my heart has been heavy as I think about the thousands of families and friends who will wake up and relive every moment of their lives seven years ago today.
I don't know anyone, who was old enough to know what was going on, who doesn't remember exactly what they were doing on September 11th, 2001 when the lives of so many and the life of our nation changed forever. Although we couldn't imagine on that day or the days and weeks after the attack that we would eventually slip back into a normal life, most of us have. It is so easy for us to take for granted all of the freedoms and luxuries that we are so use to. Maybe that is a good thing to show that we will always have the America that so many died for.
So for today, lets turn our ears away from the election, not honk at the crazy driver in front of us and maybe just go out of our way a little bit to do a good deed for a stranger. Even if just for today, let us remember that we are one people, we are strong. Let us remember our troops all over the world who risk their lives and those who have given their lives so that we can live as we do.
And, most of all, let us remember all of those heroes who lost their lives on September 11th, 2001 because they lived in a land of freedom.
May they rest in peace.
And for my dear friend Alyson, if for some crazy reason this gets to you today, just know that you and your family are always in my thoughts and prayers but especially today.

Isabella

DId I mention that I was having a great week with all of the babies that have been coming to see me. I have been in heaven. This has got to be the best job in the world. I have gotten so many slobbery kisses this week.
Well, this is Isabella. She is my step neice. The first time I did her pictures I think she was 5 days old. Now she is 7 months. Where does the time go? We had so much fun and she is so sweet! All of her pictures turned out great and I wanted to let everyone see a few until I get the actual proofs done.

This was the first shot of the day and remains to be my favorite.

Isabella loves her Mommy!

How funny is this! She was giggling so hard!

Look how excited she is! She wanted to play with my girls and they wanted to play with her.

I'm not sure what I am going to do when my girls are back in school. They have been the best little helpers this summer and the kiddoes just love them. As for you Miss Isabella, you are coming to see us as soon as we get back from vacation!
Take care!
Lisa :)

Abby Grace

I know that I am sounding like a broken record lately but I really am getting my baby fix. This is Miss Abby Grace and she rules the universe in case you didn't know. The universe, that is, for her mom and dad and everyone she comes into contact with. Again, I am in love. I guess I fall very easily. She really is the sweetest thing and Alli Grace was a big hit with this little one too.

I always wonder how little ones will do when they have to travel a long way to come see me. Well, she did great as you can see from the pictures. Also, as you can see from these pictures, Abby Grace has been a long time coming for these two wonderful parents and she is the apple of their eye. They waited three years for her arrival and she came such a long way to be a part of their family. It was very much worth the wait! I had to share some pictures as soon as I could as this is her very first photo session.
I hope you guys enjoyed the peek and thanks for spending your morning with me!
Have a great vacation!
Lisa :)
